πŸ† Belarus Young Researchers Award

The Ideas Bank announces a new award for young Belarusian researchers who are ready to propose fresh ideas and solutions to current social, political, and economic challenges facing Belarus and/or the Belarusian diaspora.

We invite submissions of concepts for analytical papers and will support selected authors in developing their ideas into full-fledged analytical materials.

Five best concepts will be selected. Their authors will receive:

  • A financial award of up to €1500 (gross)
  • Mentoring and editorial support
  • Publication of the analytical paper (up to 2000 words) on the Ideas Bank platform

Examples of topics that interest us:

  • Political and civic strategies for democratic change
  • Economic recovery and reform, business and technology development
  • International cooperation, diplomacy, and foreign policy
  • Technology, media, and the fight against disinformation
  • Social cohesion, building connections among civil society actors, and national dialogue
    …and others.

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in research, analytical, or journalistic work, or are studying for a Master’s or PhD in social, political, or economic fields;
  • Have a portfolio with at least one analytical publication or research where you are the lead author;
  • Are under 35 years old and hold Belarusian citizenship.
